Geometry Question (BB Test 11 Section 1)

I chose (D) because the question asked how many points do C and L have in common? So according to the figure below, we have the 2 points on the circumference of the circle + point P (as it is inside C and on L) = 3. But the correct answer is (C ) 2. Why are we not considering point P when counting the points that C and L have in common? Thanks for your help in advance! :slight_smile:

Point P is only on line L and is not touching the circle its just inside the circle , only 2 point are touching both line and the circle
