yup, In one case z = 13 so the area in this case will be 30, and Quantity A = Quantity B
But in other case he assume the hypotenuse = 12, I didn’t understand this, because the side opposite to 90 degree must be the longest side
Look at the question carefully. You’re only given the lengths of three sides, and nothing about their ordering. You can have a triangle whose hypotenuse is 12, base is 5 and height is z.
