I cant use the property of alternate angles right?

Cud someone explain the difference between similarity and congruency?
In this type Greg spoke abt ASA SSS and all and told that there are cases when the ans is C or D. Could someone illustrate that

Similarity implies that these two triangles are proportional in side and area. The angles are the same. It’s like scaling.

Congruency implies that these two triangles are exactly the same (in angles and side length).

Is my logic for the 1st problem correct?

Yes; no evidence showing that the lines are parallel.

so then I use that property of sharing the same arc?
Cud u elaborate that concept?
