Geometry - triangle inequality theorem

I don’t understand why the answers are in reverse of my choices. Shouldn’t the third length be larger than (4 + 7=) 11?

Smaller, not larger. Revisit this on PrepSwift.

Ahhh got it! Just re-watched the Possible Side Lengths of Triangle. To answer this question, we have to form a range

4 + x > 7
4 + 7 > x

Solving for the range
x > 3
x < 11

Therefore the range is 4 - 10
