If two sides of a triangle are given, suppose 10 and 15, is third angle is always greater than 5 and less than 25, or it can be any other measurement, like 3, 4, 30?
Angle or side?
As Leaderboard hinted at, the “triangle inequality theorem” states that the third side of a triangle must be greater than the difference of the two other sides, and less than their sum.
So, concretely, a triangle with two sides (not angles) of 10 and 15 must have a third side that is greater than 5 (not 5, but it can be a 5.01), or a length that is less than 25 (24.99… or less).
