Getting from 300 to 330 = Plan of action?

Hey everyone,
I’m just starting with my prep. My cold diagnostic from ETS is a 300 - 147 VA and 153 QA. I know for a fact that I got a lot of quant basics wrong and could’ve easily gotten at least 5 of them correct if I did it with a fresh mind or had my basics clear.

To give you additional context, I 100% want to apply in R1 of 2026 intake MBA programs so have limited time and want to give at least my first attempt by mid-July.

I’m working full time with around 12 hour work-days and have weekends free. Can take out 2-3 hours on weekdays to study.

Have started with Greg’s 1 month plan and just finished Day 1 on it as of right now with PrepSwift for Quant.

Should I stick to this approach or should I modify something? Am I being too ambitious or is it possible?

Any help/tips/advice appreciated.

Hi! I’d love to help, but I want to make sure I understand your goals first. Just to clarify, are you planning to apply this September to start your MBA in Fall 2026? If so, I personally think the 1-month plan might feel a bit rushed for your timeline & work schedule, especially if you’re aiming to take the exam by mid-July. You might want to explore the “I’m Overwhelmed” plan instead. I think it could be a better fit for where you are right now in your GRE prep journey!

Hi Ri. Yes, want to start my MBA in Fall 2026. Wouldn’t the I’m Overwhelmed plan take significant amount of time? I want to give at least my first attempt by mid-July so that if required, I have 3 weeks left for a second attempt.

What are my options?

Hi again, I think the 1-month plan is a bit more content-heavy. I would personally stick to the Overwhelmed Plan given your timeline. Feel free to meet with me if you have more questions on how to organize your studying!
