I’m new to GregMat! Took the GRE today and scored a 322 (160 V 162 Q) but need a 330. Tips on when and how to study for a retest?
First attempt is self study (OG, Big Book) and I just joined GregMat.
It depends on your timeline. If you have more time, you can try to go through the 1 month or 2 month plan. Keep in mind that there may be some content overlap between what is taught and what you already know, given that you’ve been studying already. Be honest with yourself and go as fast as you can, but as slow as you have to in order to fully digest the ideas before moving on.
If you don’t have the time, you need to systematically identify your weaknesses. In verbal, is it your vocab that’s the issue? Maybe it’s specific reading comprehension questions. In quant, is it a topic like probability? Or maybe it’s strategies for answering quant comparison style questions.
Identify your weaknesses and try to find content specifically targeting that. You might also benefit from prepswift in this case, since all the links are laid out extremely simply.
