GRE Big Book for Quant practice?

Hi all,

Is practicing the Big Book Quant problems ( timed practice ) a good way to have an exposure of GRE questions ? Or is there a better way ?

I have practiced the Manhattan problems and want to practice a consolidated Quant section with time. Are the questions par with current GRE questions difficulty ?

Hey, you can definitely solve big book quant section with constraints like using just 25 mins to complete the section without using calculator to artificially make it more difficult.

@sky_pumpkin , I agree.
I have been timing myself against 28 mins for one Quant section, and it has got me running fast, eventually exposing me to errors.
However, I am worried about the type of questions here.

Like is it possible that the questions in the actual test demand more working/calculations and hence the 35 mins ? Like the multiple correct questions for example - I dont see multiple correct examples in Big Book, so I am a little concerned in general.

I agree with you, you can supplement questions from greprepclub or any other website. There could be few topics too that are missing entirely from old GRE like probability. However, big book is not a bad practice, once you are done with it, use other resources too.
