Can someone explain the reasoning for why the answer is B) aesthetics?
I had chosen intellect since I remember in one of Gregs lectures he said when we have two blanks with ‘as well as’ given the first blank is the word and the second blank would be a stronger word.
eg: smart as well as brilliant
So why is that it doesnt apply for this question?
Hi! So I think you are confusing the phrase “as well as” with “even”. For example, he was smart even brillant. The “as well as” signals two separate things. I believe it is aesthetics because it reuses the word shown before the “;” which is beauty, or at least that is how I solved it. Hope this is helpful
