In the given question, we have been given that a line passes through 0,0 and 7,9 hence we can infer that there is no y-intercept so b = 0 and also if we try to plot the line on a graph, we can obtain a line with a positive slope hence, a must be > 0.

Therefore, we get the expression y = ax where a > 0, Hence y > x so shouldn’t B > A (i.e. option B) be correct? But the correct answer given is D. Can someone please help as to why my logic is incorrect?
