GRE Quant Flashcards Groups 7-8 Quiz question 7

Can someone please tell me why the answer is 125 not 5 for the below question?

If the vertex of the graph given by the equation y=x ^2 +5x+10 is (a,b), what is a+b?

for vertex the Y should be 0 if that is true then the sum of the root is given by -b/a
I must be missing something.

Sum of the root != vertex?

then can you please share the solution as I could not find it anywhere.
