Hi Guys, real quick i wanted to see how people got good at SE questions. I have used the math strategy and rewatched all the basic fundamentals and strategy vids and im not really sure how else to improve on them. My GRE vocab is pretty good but a lot of times i still find myself getting stuck with understanding what the sentence is actually saying and what the idea is. I usually struggle with double blanks too. Was wondering if i could get any advice…
To improve your SE skills, you need to learn and review vocab everyday, in my opinion. That’s what most people do, from what I noticed. Have you checked the vocab page out? A lot of vocab resources there. Also, you can check vocab-related classes and see if that helps you improve your SE skills. These classes/contents are:
- GRE Vocab Mini Quiz (some quizzes also cover SE questions)
- GRE Vocab Quiz Hour (from Greg Mat’s list)
- Dedicated GRE Vocab Class (covering Greg Mat’s list as well but not all groups).
As you learn the vocab, you hone your pairing strategy.
Thank you admin. My apologies i actually meant Text completions. I can never catch a break with them no matter how many times i watched the TC vids and utilize math strategy. Any tips on this?
