GregMAT GRE Mini Quiz 10 - Qu 3

" Sandra does not _________ the stadium’s new moniker, Mills Field , named after its biggest benefactor, though she does think the committee could have settled on something a little less ________."

(i) relish / react to / revile
(ii) byzantine / bogus / humdrum

Correct answer: revile and humdrum

In the question above, I identified the contrast in the sentence, however, I thought the contrast was between the fact that Sandra was ‘reacting’ and Sandra was ‘thinking’. - Although Sandra thought the name could be better, she did not react to it. How do we identify which idea needs to be contrasted?

This some clever writing ; because on first sight I would’ve selected like as the guess for the first blank but then I would’ve trouble in finding the second blank . Instead due to the phrase a little less its a contrast b/w a highly -ve word (blank i) and a slightly less -ve word(blank ii)
