I understand that greg’s list comes from official ETS materials, but is that really a good indication of if they will appear in future tests?
Does ETS really repeat words in the tests? Those who have given the GRE in past could help better answer it!
Ah, relax, they make the test, not new words. Greg’s lists work, just go through the test experience section of the forums and you can see for yourself.

There is no guarantee for a word to appear from any wordlist that you’ve studied before the exam . If you go through Greg’s recent test analysis, you’ll see him mentioning that he encountered some new words too. Thus, that’s why Greg repeats over and over that you have to focus on learning the strategies. Also, Greg list is a solid starting point and over time you can add more words to it if you like to do so in the duration of your prep.
