Hi, Greg! How are you? My GRE exam is on November 22, and I want to focus
on solving only the short passages from the Big Book. I also plan to watch
your videos on the Big Book solutions. Do you think this approach will be
enough preparation for the Reading Comprehension section? Secondly, how
long do you think it might take to complete all the ETS Quant material? I’m
still working on preparing strategies, so I want to get an idea of how to
plan my study time
Doing the short passages is fine, but the word “solving” is probably the wrong way to go about it. You want to make sure you’re doing deliberate practice with each and every strategy.
- Rephrasing sentences
- Simplifying Sentences
- Sentence Function
- …
It’s very hard to estimate unfortunately as it depends on the students. But in general, the “completionist” approach is discouraged. It’s more about making sure you’re good at the 4 keys.
Can you plz share me the same type of video for verbal too : Four Keys to a High Quant Score (An Important Class) - GregMat
