Help solve this question from prepswift that I think the answer is wrong for

Here to get above 90% the student has to score 108+. Even if he gets 11 questions wrong on set 2, he will get 90%+ or if he gets 4 wrong in Set 3. That way the answer changes, hence correct option should be D. As per greg’s solution its B

Also: if the student gets 4 wrong in Set 3, that person would get less than 90% - not sure what your point is.

It is. I solved it there itself.

In scenario
A) If he gets 11 questions wrong on Set 2, total points equal 109, with this, answer is option A
B) If he gets 4 wrong in set 3, total points he gets equal 119, with this answer is option C

Since we are getting two different values, the answer should actually be D.

That’s not right. If the person gets 4 wrong in section B, that person can get only 2 \times 11 - 2 \times 4 = 22 - 8 = 14 points for that section. That limits their maximum score to 104.
