In this problem, A and B could also be mutually exclusive or independent events. We can assume anything right? So shouldn’t the answer be D? It’s a QC problem btw.
Yes, you can assume anything. But if these two events were mutually exclusive, P(A or B) should have been P(A) + P(B) which is not the case here.
