The “Getting Started” section of the One-Month Study Plan describes the “Getting Started With GRE” video as “old but still useful”; does “old” mean that it’s inaccurate in places?
For example, it outlines the structure of the test: always beginning with the two essays–issue first, then argument–then either QVQVQ, or VQVQV. Is this still true?
It’s hard to say exactly how accurate the video is overall, but the main differences would come from updates to the GRE itself since the video was made.
Regarding your specific example:
The test structure outlined in the video is mostly still accurate except for one major update—there is now only one essay, the Issue essay. The Argument essay has been removed.
The general order (essay first, then Quant and Verbal sections) remains the same
