How do you suggest i should study synonyms?

So currently i am following the 2 month plan and planning to give gre in july mid. My question to you guys is how are u guys studying synonyms of words coz greg said its important. So can you guys tell me what do u follow or give me suggestions for the same?

There is a list of synonyms which are often used in GRE in this website.

I just went through the vocab list, and tried remembering the actual meaning of that word and how it is used in a sentence
