How does 10 minute break work?

Hi, I have my GRE test at home on 20th may and I’m confused about how the 10 minute break works? After my Writing section, one verbal and one quant I get the break right?

Then as soon as that ends the 10 minutes start right?

I ask my proctor to use the washroom and I have to comeback before 10 min starts and complete my check-in before 10 min ends??

or do I just reach back before 10 mins, after 10 mins ends proctor will say that we will do check-in again so may take more than 10 mins??

Please help im confused and dont want to disconnect in gre. ty

10 mins is the break for yourself. They don’t mind if you are late by a min or two - Happened with me. By the end of min 10 , you have to report back.
