I don’t think “still” means negative, it is used here to continue the idea.
For instance, I like burgers still I prefer dosas for breakfast.
however, in spite of etc. are negative so why not still?
and in the example (pic attached) if still is positive
I’m afraid he’s crazy is negative, he’s harmless is positive
Punctation (;) tells us that it a support. GRE tricked my by thinking sanctimonious is positive word but that’s okay because math strategy doesn’t works like that.
The screenshot is not apt as “still” is used after a full-stop.
