How to study the lectures?

So I just started my GRE preparations yesterday (2 month plan) and I keep writing all the stuff down in my notebook which consumes a LOT of time. Just wanted to know if I am doing it right and if someone else is going through the same. (I am currently planning my GRE exams in July)

Also, I’d love to know how others go through these lectures?

If you write down notes for every example Greg tells in the lecture, it would be very tedious. Try writing only the main points. Let’s say you’re doing math strategy, it would suffice to write :-

  1. Find support or contrast ( note down what implies what from each example)
  2. Figure out where to look for the answer (before or after the blank)
  3. Make guesses.
  4. Look at the options

Am I missing anything else?

Thank you so much, it was extremely time consuming. I will follow this new pattern.
