I scored a 324 in about 2 weeks of preparation, here's what I did

Hey, I started studying for the GRE about 2 weeks ago, around the 24th of November.
I previously used Greg’s advice and did super well in TOEFL but I put off giving the GRE until this late because of university exams and other reasons.
Started my prep for the GRE on the 24th, here are all the things I did (in a mostly chronological order)
→ Went through all PrepSwift quant videos and solved the end of module quizzes for chapters I felt I was weak in
→ Since I was fairly confident in my verbal skills to a point, I decided to absolutely rawdog the vocab mountain. I slacked off for the first 4-5 days but then I started doing 6 groups a day (i know, stupid idea)
→ I had this tentative goal of attempting the test by the first week of December no matter what. Application deadlines were starting to creep up and I wanted to have a safety gap in case i needed to give it again. (this didn’t happen, thankfully)
→ Eventually ended up completing the vocab mountain with confidence of knowing about 990 of the words out of the 1020 present. I majorly used the GregMat app on mobile as it was super fluid, easy to access and nicely built, although the website helped a ton too :^)
→ I also ended up watching his new 2024 series on TC-SE and Reading which was a nice push in the right direction in terms of the strategies to be used and the mentality to employ when tackling those questions.
→ Lastly, I would also like to say that while I’m happy that I was able to crack a decent score within a short span of time, I would’nt recommend it. The past few days (my attempt was on 6th December), I would be lying if I said I wasn’t stressed and tried to grind out quant problems like crazy. Finding patterns in the exam definitely helped me conquer my fear of it, as well as the plethora of mini-exams and quizzes on the platform.

My tentative score was a 160V and 164Q and I will receive my official scores with the essay in a week. I’m considering re-giving the test to crack a >= 330 score but I am not sure if I will do so.
I highly suggest believing in yourself and realizing that it is just an exam, and following Greg’s advice along with understanding how you’re able to process the exam yourself! Cheers and thank you GregMat!!

Thank you for sharing your insights and congratulations again!
