Ideas for issue essay

How do i quickly think of ideas and examples for the issue essay?
How do I construct good sentences faster?
I repeat a few words throughout the sentence, how can I overcome this habit?

I am unable to complete a cohesive essay in under 30mins.

Here are some steps you can take

Depending on how granular you want to get you can try and take all the steps, if not you can focus on the big problem areas

Goal 1: Develop the ability to quickly think of ideas and examples for the GRE Issue Essay.

Steps:

Regularly practice brainstorming for 5 minutes on different GRE prompts, aiming to generate at least 3 key ideas or arguments.

Spend 5 minutes after brainstorming to organize ideas into a rough outline.

Practice linking your ideas to real-world examples, personal experiences, or general knowledge.

Goal 2: Improve sentence variety and reduce word repetition.

Steps:

Take sentences you’ve written and rephrase them in different ways, focusing on varying structure, length, and use of synonyms.

Keep a list of commonly repeated words and practice using 2-3 synonyms for each.

Familiarize yourself with various sentence structures (e.g., complex, compound) and incorporate them into practice writing.

Integrate GRE vocabulary into your writing exercises.

Goal 3: Write a cohesive essay within 30 minutes.

Steps:

Set a timer for 30 minutes and practice writing a complete essay under time constraints.

Limit planning time to 3 minutes, using this time to create a quick outline of thesis, main points, and examples.

Use transitions effectively between paragraphs to maintain logical flow and coherence.

After each timed essay, review for flow and structure to ensure that the argument progresses logically.

Goal 4: Refine overall essay quality and speed.

Steps:

Regularly write two timed essays back-to-back to simulate real test conditions.

Spend time reviewing and self-editing essays, focusing on eliminating repetitive words, improving sentence structure, and strengthening arguments.

Continue integrating advanced vocabulary into your writing for added complexity and variety.
