since that would come under the horizon of factual questions, was wondering if an option to the inference question contains something that is directly stated in the passage, is it possible that its the right answer?
In my experience, it must both (1) aptly answer the question and (2) be stated implicitly or explicitly. In most cases that I have seen, if it is directly stated, it would usually not answer the question.
DIRECTLY stated verbatim - most likely a trap answer for an inference question.
DIRECTLY stated with the words tweaked a bit - can be the answer for an inference question
INDIRECTLY stated (A=B stated, B=C stated so A=C implied) - can be the answer for an inference question
Do you have an example that you would like to share?
okie thank you
I forgot the example but got my answer right here, thankyouu
