In the last blank - Why is the answer 'rigid stipulations' and not 'frivolous platitudes'. There seems to be evidence where platitudes directly opposes the unique events. Could anyone clarify this for me?

“Frivolous platitudes” means overused or insincere statements. “Rigid stipulations” are strict conditions.

In this sentence, the stadium used to host a number of unique events, which is a good thing but now is well-known (in a bad way) for its rigidity or strictness. “Rigid stipulations” is the only of the two that means rigidity.

All three possible answers are things that can make someone or something notorious. However, a stadium does not have platitudes, which are statements. Only a person could be notorious for frivolous platitudes.
