In this question, its a comparision between 1 and 0.3 bar * 3 , isnt 0.3 bar * 3 equals 0.9 bar which is approximately equals to one but still less than 1?

0.333333 (recurring) multiplied by 3 equals 1 I think.

It only equals 0.999999999 if the 3s end at some point. You can confirm this by doing 1/3 in your calculator.
