I am at the foundation level of my GRE prep. A week ago, I started the 2-month plan. However, it takes me three days to complete all the materials (learnings + exercises) for a day’s routine of the first week. Because it takes me 10 minutes (sometimes 11 mins) to solve this (in the screenshot) type of quant problem correctly. Although I am swift in verbal parts, it takes me a considerable amount of time to grasp and solve quant concepts and problems.
I know I’m taking a lot of time to solve a quant problem like this, but my question is, is it normal to take 10 or 11 minutes to solve this type of quant problem for a beginner in GRE Prep?
I would consider switching to the overwhelmed plan if you’re only 1 week in:
Overwhelmed Plan for Quant + Week 5 onwards of Quant from 2 month plan
2 month plan for verbal
I think this might be a better route for you.
If you’re gonna continue doing the 2 month plan, skip the optional “Quant Problems” bits for now, and come back and do them once you’ve finished the plan. It should take you less time then and your study will be more efficient. The reason I suggest that is that these problems, even though they are filtered by topic often draw from multiple topics and especially since you’re 1 week in only you might be lacking some knowledge.
