Jewelry during test

I have my test in a few days and I didn’t notice that you’re not allowed to wear jewelry outside wedding bands. (You can probably guess my question)

Are there any exceptions to this?

I have worn a necklace literally more than a decade and the one time I took it off I got into a car accident. It’s also pricy so if I show up and have to take it off I’ll probably be more stressed.

2nd question, is it better to call the test center ahead of time or just feign ignorance and maybe wear a shirt that hides it?

Maybe try calling the test center for further clarifications because in some cases they will just check your jewelry and will allow you to wear it but on the other hand if they wouldn’t allow to wear it then you will have no choice but to keep that in a small deposit box that the center provides and I am not sure how secure that is as the center rules say don’t keep valuable item in that as they take no guarantee incase it gets lost/stolen.
