I am getting these wrong. I am confused between main idea and author’s opinion. For example, in this question the passage’s theme is definitely the debate about Robert’s poem. But in the end, the author weighs in and expands on the debate, its significance. Can you please give me a general blueprint for the main idea? and where am I going wrong?
What is most of the passage about? It’s about the debates right? So I would argue the first is better, but you can disagree with this main idea is always going to be a little opinionated.
