I marked the answer to be ‘lascivious’ as it is complimentary to ‘alluring’ (Alluring can mean seductive in some cases). How is ‘lascivious’ wrong?

The and will act as a support that is correct but the blank cannot be opposite of simple and quaint, since he is yearning for simple and quaint charms.
The word even is a more extreme word, so the blank will be extreme form of simple/quaint, which in this case is sophisticated.
