Manhattan 5lb (Text Completion)

Using the Support/Contrast strategy, I identified ‘and’ to be the support, so the blank should be complimenting the word ‘alluring’, therefore, I eliminated ‘Alien’ and ‘Alienating’. Also, the blank must be opposite of ‘simple’ and ‘quaint’ ( ‘for’ can be another support word joining the two ideas), hence I eliminated ‘sophisticated’ as well (which is the correct answer). I marked the answer to be ‘lascivious’ as it is complimentary to ‘alluring’ (Alluring can mean seductive in some cases). How is ‘lascivious’ wrong?

I think @Ayush you made a slight mistake in interpreting the sentence.
The and will act as a support that is correct but the blank cannot be opposite of simple and quaint, since he is yearning for simple and quaint charms.
The word even is a more extreme word, so the blank will be extreme form of simple/quaint, which in this case is sophisticated.
