Manhattan Math strategies 1-6 books

Hi @gregmat and members,

  1. Before starting 2-month plan, I want to complete Manhattan math strategies book 1-6 to brush up my basics in quant.I am also watching the khan academy videos. Do you think it’s a good idea or can i just ignore them and go through the 2-month plan?

  2. Some of my mates are suggesting to follow the 2nd/4th version manhattan 1-6 books rather than the latest one, with red cover. They are saying that because the practice question sets (easy, medium and hard) are not there in the latest version, which is extremely helpful for the exam. what do you think about this?

  3. While solving the practice question sets, I am finding some questions, specially hard sections, really difficult. although i can understand their solving methods, sometimes i can not catch the idea/ thought process of the solution for some problems. Should I just ignore those questions (my target score 165+) which i cannot understand after trying to grasp the idea behind the solution?

Rather than solving everything and than tackling official material, I would rather suggest that you could jump start your prep with PP1 diagnostic test then solve your weak topic with reference to it. Much less time consuming
