Manhatten 5LB, Pg1178

Hi in this question, I understand the answer is (1/12)(1/11).
Why isn’t the answer (1/12)
(1/12)
I’m having a hard time reconciling it with principles taught in the palpatine question below:

Am i correct in this understanding:

  1. In the palpatine video, the question was differentiating between pulling out the same kind of item but at two different times. But in the Chips question, this is about pulling out two different items?
  2. So in the chips question, if the question wanted us to compare the probability that I pull white chip#3- 4th and white chip#3-6th, the same palpatine type of answer would be there i.e. 1/12?

Request you to clarify.

Because when you go to pick white chip #3, your bag only contains 11 chips, since you already picked out a black chip #3.
