Read your review on another forum as well. I recently took the test in Jan 2021. I did feel SE is so nuanced now in terms of answer choices. For me, I felt that there were cases where I couldn’t find exact pairs with the “same/similar” meaning, leading to a lot of guessing.
To be clear, this was the type of questions I most frequently got correct with a high accuracy rate (90+%) during practice and felt fairly confident about it. My diagnostic report showed that in one verbal section I got about 3/4 wrong, the result to which I’m quite surprised. But this is understandable given my struggles during the test in finding same-meaning pairs.
