Need help with this Critical Reasoning question

Hi @gregmat,
Is the answer to the following question: (A)

POE:
B - longer lifespans for EVs than combustion engines would increase the paradox since the countries are having high adoption rates.
C - limited supply of rare earth metals does not relate to the increase in emissions.
D - more expensive??? maybe. But since there is a high adoption rate, it means people are ready to pay the price
E - decrease in vehicles on the road would indicate a decrease in emissions.

Justify the correct answer:
A - electricity generated from non-renewable sources. Since adoption is high, and EVs charge from that electricity, more of these carbon-emitting sources of energy would need to be burnt to support these EVs on road which solves the paradox.

Looks good to me!
