Need help with two quantitative comparison questions

Why is A the correct answer for this one?

Why is C the correct answer? How are they equal? I thought that B would be larger than A.

Q8)
Triangle Inequality Theorem. The sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle is greater than the length of the third side

Q11)
If you look closely you will notice that for Qty A we are adding only the sum of 19+20+21 and for Qty B we are just adding 60 because 22 to 59 are same in both Quantities thus we don’t need to add them. Thus we are just checking if 19+20+21(QtyA) = 60(QtyB) and indeed it is .
