Next Steps and How to improve timed practice

I have started timed practice for GRE Quants. I watched Greg’s video for time management in GRE where he says that we should be able to look at all the questions and solve 60% of them within the first 9 minutes. Then go to marked question which we skipped and still have 5 to 8 mins at the end to revisit all our answers. I’m not able to do this. I have 0 minutes left to revise and I can barely solve 2 to 3 questions in the first 9 minutes, even if I follow Greg’s method of skipping questions. How can I get better at this? Should I go back to foundation or continue doing more timed practice. Here are the score of the quizzes I have attempted so far

Foundation:
Aritmetic #1: 92%
Arithmetic #2: 73%
Algebra #1: 89%
Co-ord Geometry: 100%
Geometry: 93%
Data Analysis: 86%

Untimed Quiz:
10 Medium Quant #1: 90%
10 Medium Quant #2: 80%
10 Medium Quant #3: 70%
10 Medium Quant #4: 90%
6 Hard Quant #1: 50%
6 Hard Quant #2: 33%
6 Hard Quant #3: 0%
6 Hard Quant #6 (JOLP): 50%

Timed Quiz:
Medium Section 1
Sample 1: 75%
Sample 2: 41%
Sample 3: 75%
Sample 4.1: 58.33%
Medium Section 2, Test #1: 46%

I’m looking for next steps to improve my timed practice scores.

I have 2 tips that might help here

  1. You can compare your solution with the standard solution to check if you are picking the best approach. Most GRE questions can be solved in multiple ways, some are less time-consuming than others. You can work on your strategies to cut down time.
  2. You can give yourself more time while practicing. For example, on the GRE first section, you have 21 minutes to solve 12 questions, you can give yourself 15 more minutes to solve the same 12 questions while practicing and slowly bring down the extra time in subsequent practice sessions.
