Hi all, I need help understanding what this question is really asking:


I interpreted it as: for each individual statement, can we conclude that the slope of line k is definitively negative and not zero or positive.

I didn’t choose options A or B because I thought it was still possible for both the x- and y-intercepts to be positive in those scenarios. That would mean we can’t be certain the slope is negative, right?

Could you please help me understand the error in my thinking?
