OG Revised 1st Edition : TC question

It is desirable to expand the yield of a harvest only when________________additions in time, exertion, and other variable factors of production are not also required .

Blank i
a) predestined
b) commensurate
c) analogous
d) deliberate
e) indeterminate

We only to increase the yield when \color{red}{similar} additions in other numerous factors are not required.

The only option which has the same idea as similar is B) Commensurate

How you are too quick to apply logic? :no_mouth:
I practiced all OG latest materials [except whole big book] but still suffering in applying logic.

The two keywords to note were additions and not.

Now, we have lots of factors and the key idea is that we don’t want put efforts in each and every factor . So, we don’t work on each one of them equally.

What did you initially guessed out of the blank?

I was clueless. Not getting any blank supporting keyword. Even not able to apply or think any gregmat strategy.

Doesn’t matter, it was mostly useless for me anyways.

I am sure :’(

Could someone please explain why indeterminate is wrong?

My logic - the sentence has the word “variable” factors are not also required. So I chose indeterminate as if a factor is variable then the factor will be indeterminable.

Also commensurate and analogous have similar meanings. And non where in the sentence could I find the evidence for commensurate as the sentence never talks about proportion or similarity, but I found the evidence for indeterminate in the word “variable”

Thanks
