Permanent marker erased by alcohol is permitted?

Hey All,

I read about the general requirements regarding note-taking materials on the ETS website, although I am not sure, that a permanent marker erased with nail-polish remover at the end would be accepted. Does anyone has an experience with it?

Also, if someone could give some useful tips for the at home version I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

can’t you get a normal whiteboard marker like this for eg

Also, just go through all the tips that ETS have provided on their website in-here

Thank you for the answer! However, I would prefer a permanent marker because those are available in smaller size. My handwriting is quite small and using a whiteboard marker makes it difficult to read my numbers. And also, the waterbased markers are often “melt down” on the transparent sheet protector

I am pretty sure whiteboard marker got a thin-tip version too (I used it at my attempt and it worked great along with a whiteboard) but if you still wanna go the permanent marker route with nailpolish remover then its better to hit ETS folks with an official query regarding it in-here as I don’t have any experience regarding it’s usage personally.
