- I have 25 days, how should I plan my studies. ETS PP1 score was 166Q 150V. How should I divide time to verbal and quant?
- Where can I get more mocks that are also reliable?
- Can I improve my score by 10 points if I do Vocab Mountain and more RCs from the ETS Official Verbal Reasoning book?
- Now what should I do for Quant ? Doing manhattan 5lb questions but should I just give all your tests and do your Quant questions instead ? Scored about 90% in Algebra and Arithmetic. My weakness in Quant is slight absent-mindedness.
What scores do you need?
325+
For mock tests, you can check out PowerPrep tests by ETS. Or you can take practice test 1 -3 on GregMat.
You can check out the one-month study plan. That might be the best bet, considering your current situation
For your verbal, you need to learn the vocab list, the strategies and then do heavy practice. So doing the verbal in the one month plan would be the best idea.
As @Cindy said, the most reliable mocks would be the ETS PowerPrep tests.
Yes you CAN but that doesn’t mean you will. You need to be diligent with practicing and applying the strategy.
Take the google forms quizzes for all topics and see how you score.
Untimed, using paper, work slowly and carefully, and use a bad calculator (the basic on your phone) BUT you can’t google things

Okay, thanks! Also, I was thinking of taking all the foundation quizzes in these five days and then giving 2 mini exams everyday the next ten days. Do you thank that would work well for quant practice ?
Let’s see how you score on these first.
Hey Ganesh,
I gave three of these tests up until now. My scores are as follows:
-
Arithmetic - 32/50 (lots of silly mistakes. I didn’t read the questions well)
-
Algebra - 30/36
-
Coordinate Geometry- 32/38
What do you think should be my course of action as of now? I need a quant score of about 165+ minimum. And I think I can do it with the right guidance. I’m just not able to plan this well. Please help me with that. Would it be better to practise and learn concepts, or is watching tutorials better?
Is giving one of Greg’s Mini Exams everyday a good idea to practise questions and time management?
In Verbal, I’ve learned the first 12 Vocab groups yet. Aiming to do two everyday now. And I think I’ll just follow the one month plan for Verbal. Will that be able to get me 160+ ?
Hi, I would start with the overwhelmed plan, you have foundation gaps, especially in arithmetic.
Not right now, I would focus on filling your foundation gaps. Foundation first, then strategy, then time management.
It’s a good idea, but no guarantees remember.
@Leaderboard if you wanna add anything
So I have kind of figured a plan out, according to your advice and what I think I need. Here is the basic plan of what I am going to do in the next two weeks.
- Verbal- Vocab mountain + 2024 Series for TC/SE/RC + ETS OG guide. Will give tests according to the one month plan.
- Quant- Prepswift videos and exercises + Greg’s quant problems according to topics.
3rd Week will be giving mocks and mini exams + AWA practise
Then the 4th week will only be practising hard quant questions and revising strategies.
Do this sound good to you ?
Do the overwhelmed plan instead of PrepSwift
Okay. Can you tell me what the difference between them is ?
It’s like a study plan for going through PrepSwift properly.
