I didn’t start gre prep. I have my gre in next 30 days. I wrote power prep test 1 and got the below marks. Please help in verbal preparation. What should be my strategy. I can give 2 hrs to verbal every day.
Verbal:
Section-1: 6
Section-2: 5
Quants:
Section-1: 19
Section-2: 18
Overall 141 and 166
I am very weak in verbal and vocab. My actual score in verbal is very less if I remove the guessed ones which are correct. Please help me in verbal strategy.
I am trying to get minimum of 147 in verbal. My cgpa is higher with 9.7/10. So I am trying to get a minimum of 315-320 overall.
I am confident on quants improvement and want to dedicate less time for it. 2 ques in quants are wrong because of time and misreading the question.
Follow the 1 month plan (You can skip much of the quants part)
Is everything covered in verbal in 1 month plan? If I follow it properly, can I score 145+?
scores are not guaranteed but yeah, everything you need is covered in the plan, rest is upto you!
How many words should I study from your list for vocab? My vocab is poor.
Again it depends but Greg’s official list contains around 1000 words thus, if you can remember it all by the end of 1 month then it gives u a very solid vocab foundation !
It might not be possible for me to remember 1000 words in 30 days. How many words minimum should I target for some minimal marks in verbal? And does the groups numbers signify the importance and frequency like group 1 being the most important and frequent and group 20 is less important than group 1?
NOP. But if you want a frequency list of words that appear in official ETS material then you can look at herehttps://new.gregmat.com/vocab
This a good start then https://www.prepscholar.com/gre/blog/gre-vocabulary-list-words/
