Why not, consequential?

I’m honestly finding it difficult to make sense of the sentence here - is it an ETS question?

Yes, an ETS question.

As first part says that there are errors,
Ask yourself that does results that are not consequential mean errors?

No, because there could be indirect results(which are obviously not consequential) which might not be wrong

One trick is to eliminate options where you are using words like could, might, maybe like highlighted above as they are ambiguous. This is what Greg says about “telling a story”, so, Our focus should be to choose 100% certain option.
