I solved the above question as follows:
I saw the comma which means it should support the idea to the left. I looked at “seemingly casually written” and put the same thing in the blank and answered “an unconventionally formal”.
However, as I look at the right answer, I realize that I should have looked at the word masks which would essentially make the blank something opposite of “casually written” - so that means shrewdly crafted.
Am I using the right approach? Just wanted to make sure that my strategy is correct.
Thanks

Bro, You fall in ETS trap, the same way I did, I chose loosely organized , cause its casual but while doing so I did get stuck , like other options were talking more or less same shit, except (D), but I was so blind sided that I thought maybe ETS is looking for right word, But I realized after that ETS , never does so otherwise that would be bad question. even if it does in good questions mostly two option with one is apt & subtle and other is quite strong.
The learning, Read carefully as I read masks as ‘makes’ and I did a lot of mistakes in logic so I am memorizing all the TC/SE SUPPORT & CONTRAST WORDS By heart
Yes You are right because masks carries (-1), so it is going to FLIP the logic as the negative is strong.
I wouldn’t call it a trap. Seemingly indicates that it looks casual.
Its either casually written, or it looks like its casually written. You would not use seemingly if it was casually written.
Yeah That part also I skipped, the words Apparently, Seemingly , Supposedly, Allegedly All of these are sneaky little rats , which I tend to , overlook. I did that but I had no practice but now doing the Big book to strengthen the foundation, again will write , lets see. I have not practiced logic at all but I think 7 days is enough. Working on it
& thanks for pointing out because during analysis, I just noticed masks and moved on now I saw this seemingly(sneaky bastard) right below my eyes
