I got a different result. Used R, R-2, and R-3 to represent the values.
With R-2 as the median, mean = (3R-5)/3 = R - 5/3.
I then compared the median( 2) to the mean (5/3 = 1.333). Median > mean
Did I get my algebra wrong, or should I have taken the negative sign into account? i.e. -1.333 > -2
Hint: R - 5/3 > R - 2
