I have been following the 1 month prep by Greg but find the prep swift has speed up my learning faster compared to the 1 month prep videos which can be long. In particular, I notice the verbal part of prep swift is nearly done except for the last group called Vocab in detail. I have started to watch the video and I realised I am able to distill more learning bits and faster than watching 1-hour video. My question is if the section with clickable videos are considered completed, if yes, what would be the advice to utilise it efficiently vis-a-vis the original verbal videos in the 1 month prep? Thank you.
The main reason we don’t include it in the 1-month plan is the lack of exercises, compared to quant. As a result, we only recommend it as a supplement.
Hi apologies for re-starting the conversation, but I wonder if you may advise one to go through the swift prep on verbal but still do all the homework given in the long format verbal video? Would that work?
This is OK, but be aware that they may not sync exactly (which means that you may need to do a bit of work to determine which PrepSwift video approximates a certain long video).
Many many thanks! Apologies, hope you can indulge one more query here - would you say the current videos of prep swift on verbal have covered all key learning areas of the longer length verbal videos?
Not 100% sure, but I think more or less, with the notable exclusion of CR (critical reasoning).
Hi Leaderboard. Would your team consider making a mapping of Prep Swift verbal content to the one month daily plan?
Unlikely. The problem is not that you can’t use PrepSwift as a verbal replacement; it’s more of the lack of exercises in PrepSwift. That’s why we continue to recommend the long videos in the study plans, unlike quant.
This doesn’t preclude the right person from replacing the long videos with PrepSwift however, as long as they know what they are doing.
