Probabaility Doubt

Question: Given that your first and second coin flip both landed on heads, what is the probability that the third flip would be head as well?

The answer says it should be 1/2, but shouldn’t it be 1/8? (as there are three independent events taking place 1/2*!/2*1/2)
The question had popped up in Greg’s foundation maths class

It will be half only . If the question stated what is the probability of getting three heads in row , then it would be 1/8. In this question , there is no mention of previous tosses being tied to this one . Hope this helps
