Determine whether sentence is supporting or contrasting.
Find the word that is contrasting or supporting. (Is my understanding is correct with the step 3?)
Select the opposing word of the selected word in step 3.
My problem is that I am not able to understand step 3 How to determine the word. For an instance look at the below Question.
How Greg sir only choose rude word why the word harmlessly or bizarre or any other word does not choose by sir?
And should we choose only verbs or we can choose adjective or adverb for step 3?
You should choose the words which are adjectives or verbs usually. Harmlessly is an adverb which is still modifying bizzare, so you can’t choose it as thrust is upon bizzare. Let me give you an example from Oxford dictionary, I can have a sentence like this His interest in guns started harmlessly enough, but later it became an obsession. Now what are you going to contrast with in sentence 1? Harmlessly or enough? If you choose harmlessly then on right side it should be otherwise but is it? On right side its speaking about his obsession which is contrasting enough
