in this question instead of manipulating the QC’s i thought of it as 3-4-5 Triangle

Qty A was 12 and Qty B was 25

I also tested out another set of numbers 13-12-5

Qty A was 30 and Qty B was 25

wanted to know what is wrong with choosing numbers in this question

Could you explain how Qty B is 25?

oh shit that is embarrassing. thanks i stared at it for like 15 min. before i posted it here it should be 10 & 10 .

No worries! I think now you can tell Qty A is always greater

Also, if you subtract z from both quantities, you could use the property of triangles that the **sum of any 2 sides should always be greater than the 3rd side**.

that’s what I first thought but i wanted to try a different approach as greg always say solve using different method
