Area would be length*width
Let’s say length = VR = 2, so the width would be TV. To find TV, consider just the front face of the 3D figure, we can see that TV is the hypotenuse of the triangle TUV. So find TV using the Pythagoras theorem, and proceed.
I got the value of tv but what to do next
Hi aaron i got the point but in this case we are assuming that the shaded region is a rectangle but is there any guarantee that it is a rectangle?
Basically i thought this was a parallelogram and could not find a way to figure out the height of the shaded area.
Quantity A says to find the area of the shaded “rectangular” region.
